I've found this can be quite profitable on the cash tables. Say you play to the best you can, and haven't made any big mistakes. Then you get a really bad beat where someone sucks out on you in a big pot. Either the villain is gloating or you feel sh*t and call him a donkey and you're upset. This happens to everyone sometimes no matter how good or bad you are.

Then consider trying this -- you can fake being on tilt. Call him a donkey and act really pissed off. Reload to max buy-in at the table. Then for the next few hands, if you get anything like A5, K9, etc, some hand that doesn't play well on the flop but is good for a showdown, just hit the all-in button real quick preflop.

9 times out of 10, someone will call, and most likely villain who just beat you before will call.. even with something like J9, 34, etc etc. They think you are tiltin' and can't wait to bust you. But they don't know that you are faking it and only going all-in on hands that are good at showdown.

I have done that many times following a bad beat and if the A6 all-in first hand after a bad beat doesn't win, I leave the table. If it hits and I'm doubled up and suddenly biggish stack, next hand if it's Asomething, again I go all-in. Now they ALL think I'm on huge tilt and being a maniac and 2 or 3 players will often call. What's happened is that many times after a bad beat, in the next 2 hands if I catch good cards I end up making 8 times the bad beat loss back.

Anyone having done the same calculated strategy?
