Exactly, that has a lot to do with it - a lot of people have never heard of the game, and they don't see it on TV, so...same thing with Razz and Omaha. NL is the big game, so that's the one that everyone tends to go to. Also, few sites offer the game, so that's another reason it doesn't get much attention.

I wouldn't call it ludcrious....it's Hold'Em with a fun little twist. Picking a card to discard throws another thing to think about and strategize about into the mix. Give it a try sometime, you just might find that you enjoy it.

Paradise also has, or at least had, Crazy Pineapple, and the Crazy Pineapple players at Paradise had a better reputation than the players at Ultimate Bet. However, Ultimate Bet has Crazy Pineapple 8/b, whereas Paradise supposedly does not.

If anyone is ever driving cross country playing poker along the way, the Cherokee Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma, who reportedly has the only regularly scheduled Crazy Pineapple tournament (every Thursday morning) is on the very east side of town off the turnpike/interstate and has its own exit. It's impossible to miss.
