| I've been playing 4 a while and most of the time i've had better luck on my gut feelings, even though i've lost on my gut feelings to. so needless to say i'm really trying to get really good so i can go pro. |

Go with it, if you are feeling it on a night, go with it...if you feel a certain way there is probably a reason |

| Some pros, J. Harmon for one, as expressed that they rely more on instinct than any mathematical formulas... I was relived to hear this, as, the math I use while playing is 3 fold.. Good chance, fair chance, no chance... the rest is pretty much instinct.. But April is right... your 'gut feeling' is most likely based on previous encounters of similiar situations... becareful tho, cuz relying on your gut, could get ya that 'punched in the gut' feeling... As far as going pro, a wise man once told me, 'The grass is always greener on the other side... ' Think long and hard about it... read stories about it.... |

| I definitly think there is a time and place for feelings...and that time and place...heads up. When you are at a table of 10 equal stacks, why use your gutfeeling when you can just wait for the better cards and outplay them? As the numbers start to whittle and the blinds start to raise, I think thats the time to get a bit edgey and make some moves. Gotta just feel when the time is right and go for it. Preflop raises with 7 2 off are smart if you get the blinds to fold! |
