Why the points? Do you have that much of a problem with people joining the site for nothing? passwords? Or is there another reason. Can you explain how they work. Sorry to be dense but one Im blonde, explains alot, two im new here. Three IM A BLONDE DUH. thanks

There are a few reasons for the points. The main reason is that we want BlindBetPoker to be the best poker forum on the Internet, and encouraging people to make quality posts in order to qualify for the freerolls is one way to do that. In addition, we have had some problems with people crashing our freerolls, even when we had password protection for them on Titan. BBP Guru has solved that problem now, by restricting the entrants to the Titan freerolls to only those who post enough to qualify.

The result is quality poker, as opposed to the All-In donkeyfest that characterizes so many other freerolls.

That's a very old post that you quoted, Herlis. It's actually 20 points for both poker.com and Titan freerolls, but there are deadlines for when those points have to be posted. See the following links for the current posting requirements.

As it says in the freeroll links below, points are reset every Wednesday night. In order to qualify for tournaments, players have to accumulate 20 BBP points each week by Wednesday night.

The users you see with 0 points are people who probably haven't posted to the forums in a long time, or members who have become inactive over the years the forum has been around.
