Default Can you recommend a good Odds Calculator?

Hey gang,
I've been playing a bunch off online multi-table tournys recently, and have a rudemnentary odds-calculator . I find it helps drill the odds of various hands into my brain, however ive only been playing with a basic pre-flop, calculator where i have to manually enter my hands. I downloaded texas calculate-em which seems quite useful but it expired after the 24hr trial period.

Basically i was wondering if anyone could recommend to me an odds calculator or similar program which they feel has helped them in anyway. Im not really prepared to pay for it, as i could just figure it out in my head for nothing but if anyone has any free ideas could you please post them here.

Cheers

You really shouldnt depend on those programs to help you.

I think its better you figure, memorize and learn everything from experience.

Pokers part Skill, Luck, Instincts and Heart, the last two of those you wont get from any program.

Zoobomb,

I wanted to do the same thing a couple months ago, so I used poker indicator. It calculates pot odds and gives you draw percentages. It does not tell you how to play though. I used it for about 2 weeks just to drill the stuff in my head. It has really helped me alot, because now i can tell you just about every draw percentage without any program. I don't use it anymore, i just used it for practice to drill it into my head. I used it on Pokerstars, but i think it works on everyother site pretty much. Don't rely on it 100% though because you will never become a better player just using that. Use it as a tool for practice and you will found that it will help your game out.

I gotta agree with Phoenix29...theres no program in the world that can tell you someones betting patterns ...

also, you cant measure instinct...i think thats a key to poker sometimes you gotta listen to your heart not your calculator

poker indicator is good stuff.. i used it - promo version works only on play money and titan freerolls.. but it really confused and ruining my concentration so i turned it off..

it calucates your odds preflop, pot odds, outs, and informing you about nut hands.. try it..

The free ones that work well are Poker Stove (software) and twodimes.net (website)

odds pretty easy 2 calculate...an email i got from full tilt pros gave this strategy to figure out odds after the flop....count your outs after flop say u have 10 now mutiply that by 4 gives u odds usi turn and river if u miss all 10 then multiply number of out(10) by 2....gives you relative % of hittin
