I'm curious why you think the BB made a horrible play. How would you have played it differently if you had been in his situation?

Honestly, if I was in the BB's position with AJ (and the nut draw after the turn) I'd have to bet the flop/call a raise on the flop. With two callers, I'm thinking someones got me beat. Because with that much money in the pot, and that much action, I'd be worried. Now, I don't know what his bankroll is at, but since I was going over my bankroll to be there I don't think I could put everything in with that board. After the turn with top pair top kicker and the nut draw, with more money I'd put it in there. With three in the hand, holding that AJ, I don't think I'd put that much/any in. He had already put money in, and may have figured he was committed.

So, honestly, looking back I'm not sure what I would have done in his position. I would just assume that I'm not ahead right now, but I could hit a club and take down a monster pot.

Did this make sense? It doesn't look understandable but I can't think of how else to write it.

Default One Win...LOL

Well, I have only begun about 2 months ago.

But One of my first tries, I came in 3rd in a tournament and thought I received entry into a WSOP qualifier (10.00 value).

To my happy surprise, I received an email that congratulated me on my $250 win.

Sure enough, I checked my account and VOILA...MONEY !

That's my story and I am sticking to it.

My biggest win ever came in a $10+1 buy in tourney with 250 people in the tourney. I started out like everyone else with 1,500 chips and quickly ran into some bad luck. I lost 300 with K-Q-10 flop and having A-J to a river flush and 500 more with two pair to a river straight. After this hand instead of fuming like I normally would I told myself 1 double up and I'm right back in it. So I held in there and sure enough saw a light from heaven. This light was in the form of pocket rockets which not only doubled me up but with 2 callers of all in bet trippled me up. From there on I played great poker and never got into a hand big that I wasnt in the lead. The sad thing is that I ended up finishing 3rd but I played that tournament better than any other one before and probably after. Still got a nice payday with 3rd and I was happy enough.
