Phil was so far ahead in chips, I cannot imagine him agreeing to a chop. I admit he did play like the deal was on, and maybe he agreed to a 60/40 or something.

He was ready to take it to the house. He has enough money, and he just said screw it. The last 2-3 hands were just like "who cares?"

I saw the choke from Ivey when he was up 4:1 in chips vs Lisandro. This shows how I vey is a very human poker plyr and also shows that Lisandro is very good headsup plyr( as Norman Chad was sayin) Ivey seemed to almost be on TILT 4 most of the headsup.

DId u all c the first televised hand? Lisandro 1st pos w/ tenschip leader,
Ivey in 3rd w /9s 2nd in chips.
flop came 444 Lisandro bet 40k( i think), ivey called
turn came 5 Lisandro bet 100k , ivey took a while and went all in.
Now if i was lisandro i would call this. Im sure hes seen how Ivey likes to make big plys, and is not afraid of bluffin all in. What hand would a pro plyr like Phil Ivey have in this spot? Not AA,KK,QQ,JJ not a4, or 55.

Lissandro is nasty i think he is an extremly underestimated poker player I have only seem him play a couple times but he plays very well.

maybe ivey didnt really care much about the 700k haha
i mean hes wonso many tourneys and is of course on of the most successful ultra high stakes poker players. he prolly got lazy and tired and decided to gamble to try and take the title

he won the freakin monte carlo tourney of champions . ivey is the best of the best and does well in every tourney he plays
To be such a well balanced poker player in cash games and tourneys is incredible
