Default Bad beat :(

I'll post only 2 of my worst bad beats ever...
At a 10$ Heads up tournament..I recieve ..the other guy calls..
Flop wow...a str8 flush from the flop..i bet , the other guy raises...i reraise and he calls... the turn is a and i bet the pot...he goes all in and i call..i thaught he may have or something like that...He shows a so a bigger str8 flush...the river isn't important because i didn't have any chances to win/split the pot...I think i played my hand well but was unlucky...any other opinions?

Cheers ,
W13rd0W

My other bad beat :
At a 0.25/0.50$ ring table..i had 80$ and only one oponent had more then me 130$..i was on BB...and get a ...not such a good starting hand...but if i wasn't raised i could see the flop...and there it is ! what a nice flop : ! i bet 3 $ and get reraised 8 $...i think what the other guy could have...no flush chances...a straight wasn't good enough to take the pot...so i reraise another 10$...the guy goes all in with all his 130$...I thing for a while and go all in for my remaining money...the flop comes an and the river an .. it's time to show the cards...he shows me an so i lose an 170$ pot to a river card...any sugestions?would you have folded when he went all in ?

Cheers,

first off, you definitly played the hand well, when you have a str8 flush, the only thing you can do is get all your chips in the pot!!! if you lose thats just cruel.

to make you feel a bit better...one time me and my buddies were playing a cash game called 3/5/7...during part of this game (when you make your full 5 card poker hand) 7s are wild. Using the wild I got a ROYAL FLUSH! I managed to get all my hard earned loot (around 50 bucks, thats a lot of pizzas) into the pot. The entire time I'm being taunted by my buddy who keeps telling me 'Ive got a royal flush, dont do it, Ive got a royal flush'. So anyway, I did it, he calls...and I grin real big saying 'HA! YOU have the royal flush? I do!!!'

He flips over his cards...he has a natural royal flush...as in no wilds....

house rule...no wild hands beat wild hands...

I LOST WITH A ROYAL FLUSH!

Both bad beats were played very well and there was no other way to play them.
Just bad luck, thats all.
The one where you lost $130 was worse tho, coz you lost $130.

If i lost $10 game with a straight flush against a better straight flush, i would be okay with it.
But if i lost over $100 on a bad beat by the river, i would be more upset w/that one just for the fact that it cost so much more.

I think the worst beats are the ones that cost the most.

But thats just me.

the bad part is that if the royal flush one came in a ring game i would have got the bad beat bonus ... that was a big pot to loose

Default really bad luck

HI! I think you did the right thing both times, you played your hand is it should have been played, the first time is a little crazy but in poker everything is probable THATS POKER. well things like that happen in this game. but as I told you played correctly but so did your opponents and thay got better hands. Next time youŽll get it
Good Luck

ouch but what can you do there was nothing else you could do. But if you still are winning more than youre loosing you should be happy cause most people loose their money and only some people win so if your on the winning side even if its just a little bit then you should be happy.
