Rounders, but think about the main character he is supposed to be able to amazingly "read" his opponents like a book, yet he cannot see that his best mate and girlfriend are disloyal poisonus snakes. Not the greatest of movies, but the subject matter makes up for the crumbling storyline.

No question about it. Rounders. I saw this movie and knew nothing about poker. After watching this movie i was hooked. Thank you rounders for showing all of us how to play the real texas holdem

Yeah this was an easy question. When it comes to poker movies there is no comparision to rounders. It is the greatest. Did you guys know that you can not get flopdnuts as a license plate because they think it sounds inappropriate.

rounders is a great poker movie, must be the best ever, matt damon seems to play his role like a gem.

overall well directed and acted out making it truely a classic to us poker fiends, lol

Rounders is the greatest poker movie...one of thegreatest all around movies ever. I first got hooked on poker watching this movie and I still watch at least once a day to me it is like my inspiration..because I make a small living playing small bankroll poker I don't make a lot of money but at the casinos nearby I make about 7-900 a week which pays my bills and child support so even though I have no thoughts of quitting my day job for good (not till I make my first 150,000 playing poker) I have the movie rounders to thank for it

Rounders is the best but I have never saw Cincinnati Kid I will rent it on my nearest blockbuster.

I also like Maverick with Jodie Foster and Mel Gibson, I think it's a great funny poker movie even if it's in late 1800.... (the time with cowboys and indians)

Yeah rounders is definitely a good movie. There aren't many poker movies but more casino and vegas style movies. Rounders has to take the crown on that one.
