blinds 10/25

My hand

i was second to act after the blinds. I raised to 75cents. I got 3callers and one raiser to 1.5dollars. Everyone called.

Flopp

I check the guy next to me raises 2dollars. 2guys fold and the last guy calls. and i call.

Turn

I check again cause i have a feeling they will bet if they got a flush.
The guy next to me bets 4 dollars the other one calls and i call.

River

now i bet about 3dollars the guy next me just calls and the last one goes all in. I call and the guy next to me who probably had the flush folds.

It turns out that he had AA so he got a higher four of a kind on the river.

ouch that looks very very bad....it's good that you didn't loose more money...
so...does absolute poker has a bad beat bonus ? you probably would have taken it with that hand...what can i say some moments in life are cruell but as i always say :

BAD **** HAPPENS TO GOOD PEOPLE !

so keep trying maybe one day you will hold the A A in that hand

Losing with 4 of a kind is like finding $1,000 bill on the street, going to a bank to deposit it, and then getting arrested and have to go to court and pay a $1,000 fine for counterfieting because it turns out it wasnt real and they think you did it on purpose.

That couldn't have felt good! Sorry to hear that bad beat man, somewhat cruel and unusual! Better luck next time, and at least it was $20 and not $1,000.

Man thats really bad luck. I saw it happen once but one guy had ´s and the other ´s anyway I think yours is really bad beat. You played the hand perfect I would´ve done the same, But its poker and that happens anyway hope it doesnt happen again Good Luck

bad beats do happen but im still on the winning side ive still won more than i have lost so im happy. even though its not alot.

Mr Quad A's played that one nicely... he just called each bet, til the river..

He was working in his mind, with a the nuts of FH AAA88, and wasn't going anywhere no matter what was bet... the A on the river, sealed it form him, all he had to do was make sure there was no straight flush, and that prolly took all of 1/2 a sec....

Not to mean you didn't play it nicely.. you did... but, well, is your junk feeling better yet?

That isnt what a bad beat is, the aces are supposed to win that pot 80 per cent of the time, had you won thats a big big suck out, that you did to him. You were screwed right from the start of that hand.

Played in a $50+$5 tourney at UB and my very very first hand I get dealt no raises at the table flop comes so I come out and bet and get re-raised all in, so I figure stall a little bit and then call so I call player show's so i am happy to see. turn comes and river .............. Very unlucky... especially as if u had of been playing on some sites and had forfilled certain criteria for a bad beat jackpot.. i.e large enough blinds and enough players in the hand you could of won LOADS of money
