Default How I missed my chance at the world series

Turned $100 into $1500 in two days on pokers oplaying sitngos. Decided to go for fbroke and entered a $615 satellite to the world series in which usually about the top 30 places get paid, about 500 people in it. WIth 75 players left I am in 15th and cruising. Fiure i need to pick up one more huge hand before I can coast. UTG I get dealt aces and just limp. A few guys call and then the guy right before the button raises like 5 times the BB. I juyst smooth call and so does one other guy. The flop comes A K 7 rainbow. Everyone checks. The turn is a 2, no flsuh draw ont he board. I check the guy behind me bets the original raiser puts half his stack in, I smooth call the other guy folds. The river comes a King. I check and the guy goes all in, I call with aces full of kings and yes, he ha dpocket kings. I got one outted on the river. Who knows maybe jospeh hacheman woudlnt have won if i wa sthere. THe card that changed history....lol.

hey xmanpike sorry to hear about your luck, to me that is a real bad beat. The magnitude of where that tournament was going to take you, playing in the WSOP. I think I might have shed a tear or two.
I think its every poker player's dream to play in the WSOP.
I know it is mine. Oh well best of luck next year!!!!!

WOW, thats truly a terrible thing, but just remember, you can't get bad beats if your not playing well.

Ouch, Even if you moved all in pre-flop, the guy with the KK would of obviously moved aswel. The community cards would of come out the same. That is a bad beat to remember, Unlucky.

really bad.. sorry about that hand.. you played it good... no doubt
if you raised on the flop or turn, you will be probably reraised and moved by set of kings, and the turn card will be the same..

better luck next year, i hope we'll meet on WSOP
