I don´t really follow the WPS that much but I do watch repetitions in TV often. I was wondering who would be the best Latin American Player if there is a good one. This game is somehow new over here, well at least in my country, but it is growing really fast. I suppose there should be some latins there but do not know who. If someone know please inform me

One name that comes to mind is Humberto Brenes (sp?), who comes from Costa Rica if I remember correctly. I think he has a brother who's also a very good player.

I like "The Matador", forgot his name but hes a very good player, very similar to Gus Hansen.

Mortinsen i think is his last name, saw him a couple of times on TV and i like the way he plays.

There are three Brenes bothers--Humberto, Alex and Eric. Two have won WPT titles.

Carlos Mortenson's wife is one of the top female players in the world, and made the final table at this year's WSOP women's event that was eventually won by actress and Phil Laak's girlfriend Jennifer Tilley.
