Default dam full house

I was playing a multitable tourney today and we were headsup in the final. I had 10k and the other 22k, here is the hand:

mildseven im SB i call and the other guy checks

FLOP

So i have 4 īs for the flush and high

TURN

I check he checks

FLOP

I have flush he bets almost my all in I raise him to my all in he calls, he shows

and I lost the tourney

Well for me its a really bad beat mainly because it was the final.

What do you guys think did I play well or wrong?

You should have made a bet on the flop for two reasons.

1. On the flop you saw a pair, so assuming you make your nut flush on the turn or river, there is always the risk of a full house.

2. Since you are just on a flush draw, you could have made a pot size bet to force the opponent out of the pot. If he called, then he probably has something and you should be cautious on the turn.

I agree with your analysis BBP, however in this situation, his oponent has flopped trips off the flop and will not be getting out of the hand.

The same goes for mild, if he makes a decent stab at the pot, he will most likely will be forced to go all in and he probly will with the nut flush draw. WIth this being heads up, this will be a monster pot almost every time.
