Where would be the best place to buy these books. Would they have them at your plain old book stores?

They should, but sometimes it's hard to find exactly what you're looking for, since the poker titles have grown so much and most stores have a very small section for them. Never hurts to order online - then you don't have to work about making a trip to the store for nothing.

You can get it at Amazon for around $20 bucks I believe and they usually offer free shipping.

If you liked the first one you should denfinetly try to pick up the second one. In my opion it is better because they cover some more modern games then the first one.

I think the most important thing to remember about Super System is that it is intended to be advice on playing against other good poker players. While I agree that it is by far the best book on the market, most of the ideas can't really be applied at the low-level online games.

doyle's super system is next book i will order for sure..
i was short with money on my credit card, and as i realized and saw from table of contests on amazon that super system is explaining 5-6 poker games, and this knowledge can be used good on cash games..

i'm not big fan of cash games (i started playing it before 1 month), so i ordered first harringthon's volume 1 and 2 about NL hold'em tournaments (i play tournaments a lot). when i get some cash in next package i will order volume 3 of harringhton's trilogy and supersystem vol.1 from doyle..

maybe sklansky's theory of poker too.. (i heard that he has different mathematical approach to the game, so i want to here different stories and styles of play)

is supersystem 2 second volume of the book, or it is independent book which you can read without reading the first one? (i red some bad reviews on amazon about second volume)
