I think table image becomes an increasingly important factor as you move up in levels. At low limits, I doubt very many players pay close attention to things like other people's betting patterns, and I suspect the number who take notes about their opponents is pretty small as well.

Table image is important in all forms of poker. I keep notes on almost every player I play with on-line even if it is something as small as "Raises on all opening bets" Good poker players can pick up reads on anyone and maintaining you image helps keep people get a read on you.

I think that you are right. its almost inposible to have an image at online poker. if you play at sit and go tabels alot whit the sma people its one thing but on freerolls whit up to 10000 players you can never lern how the players are . the only thing you can develope is your own gutfeeling and read the game at the tagle you at. some days are better than others. if you are at one table for a long time you can read the players sometimes.

I find table image is just important online and in person, the bettin' pattern's and showin' players the best hand nuts!! I usually have a bad table image as the bluffer.and get called on everything. crackin' a's always cuase I get called by 3 or 4 players thinkin' I am full of it. I think table image is important.

| It seems to me as you get later and later into the tournament people realize who you are and your style of play. I have some good conversations with people later in the tourney and I recognize his or hers stlye. SO yes table image is important.

You know that is a really good question, I would think so but as another person maybe later in the game. But you know there are some people who do alot of trash talking, I offtened wondered if they were kids or just some poor loser, I dont know but i would say yes ther is some type of image, I always put makeup on to play poker with you guys lol ![]()

Nice point of view here mate. It happens to everybody who is playing online poker and that is one hell annoying thing in my opinion. My strategy, if I can call it a strategy is to fold a few hands pre-flop when I am moved and see how their style is. And i adapt my style after the table as much as i can. Some of them are bluffers, some of them only call when they have a very good hand and I can't know that immediately. So..it's up to you I just tell how do i do when it happens. Cheers!

If you play the same people all the time tasble image is quite important. In the freeroll communities that I play in you get to know 15-20 players that usually make it to the last 10% of most every tournament and you get to know their betting pattern so you can guess what they have by the way they play the hand.
