True Poker, a very uncommon poker room is actually pretty good. It's the Canadian form of Score Poker, which is also very good.

True Poker's main promotion right now is if you sign up, you get to play in 4 free newbie freerolls with 10 players and a 50 dollar prize pool. You cannot cash out the money you win in these nor can you play in tournaments unless you depoit $30. However you can play in normal tables and build your roll.

Score Poker is a Canadian poker site but is pretty good nonetheless. It does not support playing for money but there are some pretty cool free tournaments. There is a sit and go challenge where everyday there are multiple tourneys including 50 people. If you win one you qualify for the challenge which is held on every sunday with 700 people. If you are in the top 3 of this you win cash prizes.

Also, there are monthly shootout tournaments which are multitable tournaments. You place in 2 tourneys with 250 people and then play in a final tourney at the end of the month to compete for prizes such as a vacation.

I actually got started playing on Score Poker for a short time before i moved on to other sites. Although you can qualify for a couple of tournaments that offer prizes - I think the vacation is first prize once a month - what the site offers is basically play money poker games. That's fine for people who want that, but it wasn't really my thing.

Yeah I mostly play in thoese once a week thing every Sunday with the qualifiers, you can win cash in that toruanemnt and the final runs every week so it's all good!!

I have played true poker before and I always ahd a problem with it. The tables would mess up. I could not log in. It would be horrible. After that I just got rid of the site. The one time i did get to play it was alright. It didn't impress me that much

Sounds like a good site if that is what you want to play for , I myself likes money even if i dont win alot alittle will get me in a sit n go or ring game. Well I guess a vacation sounds nice. LOVE, LIVE, LAUGH AND PLAY POKER

i really should get out to start playing other poker programs. this one sounds good, esspecially when that promotion is very tempting. But when i have too many poker programs on my computer , it really takes its toll..

however, if you win one of those freerolls with only 10 players you said! and build a bankroll.. can you not just deposit 30, and take the money you've won and withdraw?

Yes, I believe you can and you get 4 shots so if you get 1'st in all of them you got $100 just like that and you can play in the ring games and then deposit and take it away. Althought this sounds easy most people probably don't just withdraw their winnings that quickly and play around with the money they won. Plus they don't have any deposit bonus I think so you can count it as that...
