| I always seem to get sucked into a flush and beat by a full house. Drives me insane! Especially in Omaha, but I've had enough beats in hold em too. It always seems to be that off suit pair on the board that sinks me! |

| In omaha this will happen almost every single time, whenever there is a pair on the board if 5 or more people have seen the flop, do not chase your flush draw. I have been playing omaha for almost a year now and this is a cardinal sin. A few rules for trying to draw out that i have learned are these, dont draw a straight with a pair or flush draw showing. Also dont draw to a flush unless its the nut one and there isnt a pair showing. I also dont recommend playing two pair unless your two pair is the top two showing, because two pair will almost never win a pot unless theres only about 2 or 3 people in it, and if its not the top two it will lose, anyway these are just my opinion on the madness that is omaha. |
