yes everytime i get K K that ace always appears. It scares u and u almost wish u didnt even have that K K. But the thing u need to do is scare your opponent like u have the A or u have even better. If your opp. comes back firing maybe its time to go but aggression is the key answer

if u hold KK raise preflop and if no ace on the flop bet 80-100% pot make it expensive to see the turn and river if they call you just need 2 be aware of the board and the oppeets bettin patterns and style of play thats what it comes down to is knowin ur oppnent ad if there is and ace on the flop with 2-3 ppl in there check it and if raise u ca fold pocket kings and aces donnt mean a necessary win

Default depends on the player

Be careful with high pocket pairs QQ, AA, KK, know your players because it's usually the dumb ones that won't fold and hit their K or A. The problem with this pair is that they are so high and have an effect on you that you feel like you've already won you hand.

Play aggressively against tight players and use it to trap loose and dumb-calling-everything players. So raise when the ace hits with tight players, who will usually fold if they don't have it or re-raise if they have AK, AQ or even AA.

Against loose players, check and if they make higher than usual bluff bet or they go all-in, then fold. If it's his standard raise, re-raise to make sure he is not slowplaying that ace and after that you'll probably be pretty sure if he has one or not.

Never get careless with a high pocket pair. They are the strongest pre-flop cards, but can quickly become weak after the flop.

Whenever I get pocket kings, I normally push all in preflop to eliminate having the chance of the ace coming out and having many of my chips tied up to where I have to call. It's really hard to lay them down if an Ace does come out on the flop, or if someone called with a not so good hand and hit two pair or something.
