Does anyone even care about what she does or the IRL. I dont see how peple could watch that. I dont see the big deal about a women driving I mean they are crazy drivers and they speed. The fact that she gets all this publicity is ridicoulous. I dont even think racing should be covered. I hate racing i hate danica patrick and i hate all this media attetion around. I wonder why she hasnt won a race hmmm

well she is a breath of fresh air after all she is very pretty and she speaks in complete sentences that make sense ...as for racing itself I dont qualify as a fan as I have a complete set of my own original teeth.

I'm not much of a racing fan either, but to say it shouldn't even be on tv is foolish. tv is all about money, and if someone can make money by having it on tv, then it will be on tv, bottom line. as almost everything in life, it's all about the money.

I can't stand any kind of car racing. I just don't get why people would watch cars drive around in a circle for hours on end. It just seems kind of repetitive and boring. I don't understand why people say its a sport, also. It's not that freaking hard to drive a car, most Americans do it.

I never understood the draw until I worked in Alabama for a couple of years. Car racing has a big cult following in the South. Women loved it when guys say that they worked on a race car. AND if the guys worked in the Pit area, then the girls treat them like rock stars. The Babes start asking if they can get them a pass into the pre-race parties or the Pit Area. I watched a Daytona race in the early 90's for $40 and it's exciting for the first 20 minutes because of the noise, exhaust and the babes. There were a couple of crashes, but they happen so fast, you miss everything. After 2 hours you're definitely ready to leave early to beat the traffic.

Once in a while is OK.

I have never been much of a racing fan and I still don't watch it on TV. However, last year my husband and I actually got the chance to attend the Indy 500 and Danica was racing. It was really fun and exciting. The end was pretty tense but my husband still insists that Danica was robbed!! He says she should have won the race but didn't simply because she is a female. I don't know and am not into it enough to get upset over it but I did enjoy the race. It is sit on the edge of your seat exciting to see it in person - however, like I said, I don't watch it on TV its just not as good as seeing it live.
