There are not really a lot of times when I am at my best, ie without distractions. There always seems to be something. Titan has a freeroll at 5AM, maybe I should try that...?

I agree with pookie... night = no kids no noise .. kindof tired which helps me be a little more selective instead of my day time hyperness. I'd say i definetly make the most money at night time. I play better cards bluff at better times and just overall win more.

I would have to say I really don't have a certain time when I have played my best poker. I can play anytime really (not a pro by far)LOL. I just have to want to take my time to play in the game. I have played good when the kids are at school, but i have also played the same when the were right here watching me. I guess you can't really pick when you play your best, only because it really depends on the cards you are getting, to be honest. I mean if you aren't getting the cards, then how can you play your best? I just play when I can and hope for the cards to fall for me!

I've tried playing tournaments at all times of the day and night. For one reason or another, I seem to lose my patience, then my chips.

I've found that I play my best tournaments mostly in the early evening with a bottle of water and crackers. Winning big pots usually takes a lot of patience and ideally getting my money in post-flop.

my best poker is also playing late at night. I like playing huge NL tournaments with my itunes on. Music is great for me or T.V. If i didnt have T.V or music i probally would be to impatient to play. But when im playing late and in my groove it feels like nothing is gonna go wrong for me, its also just real relaxing playing poker at times like that. It's what makes the game so fun.

I don't know if a certain time of day matters when I am playing poker. I play my best poker when I am focused on it. If I am thinking about other stuff, or I have a lot on my mind, I don't play very well. If I am concentrated on it, I play really well. I also like to have music on while playing. Usually I like classic rock or classic metal when I am playing. It helps me get in the right frame of mind, but other stuff works for other people.

If the wife and kids are up I play alright. If the wife is up and kids are sleeping I play no so good. If the wife is asleep and the kids are up I play horrible. If they are all sleeping I play great. I like playing from midnight to about 3am because I'm not tired. the site I like the most is Royal Vegas the players are smart but not so smart you know?

One of my friends used to play great WHEN SOBER. He would read the cards and play with a lot of depth. BUT after an outing with a few drinks in him, he would come home and play a few hands online. The next morning he would wake up and see that he had lost several hundred dollars.
Play the high stakes tables late Friday and Saturday nights, you may find other Fish like him.

Got one more story. Last week I'm playing in a freeroll with a couple of hundred players and after the first break I have 15K in chips (start with 1.5K). Then my wife says "Time for Bed". Naturally I try to negotiate for another hour of playtime. No-go and I have to Sit-out/Logout. The next morning, I wake up to find out that I made it to the money. Ex-cel-lent !!
SO sometimes I play me best poker IN MY SLEEP.

I couldn't tell you when I play poker the best. I don't make that many bluffs thus I'm playing my best when I'm getting good cards and following pot odds to draw with different hands. I can easily focus on the game at all hours regardless if I'm multi-tasking on the computer or talking on the phone. I think this is a downfall to my game as everyone should have a time in which they are in the peak mood for poker. I just need to find mine so that I can hopefully continue to get better.
