Default Titan Poker Dissapointment

I have been recently very dissapointed with Titan Poker on a number of fronts. The customer service has been lacking entirely. I have had a few issues with them which were very poorly resolved. Then recently, the server crashed on me and made me miss 30 minutes of a tourny I was doing great in. By the time I was back I had lost to many chips in blinds and wasn't able to place. They did nothing to make me feel better about this situation even though it was entirely their fault. While you may see me in the occational freeroll there, I have cashed out what funds I had into neteller, and will be looking for a new place to take my buisness.

Default Titan

is a bigger fish bowl than Party Poker. Tons of nutsacks that play to big for the table they are on.

Case in point... me running $25 bucks into $3 k in a week (http://deadmonyinc.blogspot.com)

All I here these days is players saying "What about the bonus? The Software sucks. They dont have enough freerolls" Just play the game and earn the money. If you are good enough you dont need all the other crap. Just give me cards and someone to take money from.

What Scott said.

However, I also hate Titan, but for a different reason. My man had been playing on Titan for awhile and encouraged me to get an account for the reasons Scott mentioned above. So I downloaded the software and tried to deposit a few hundred bucks using my credit card. Some credit cards don't allow you to make such deposits, and now I know that mine is one of them (citibank mastercard). But when the transaction was denied, Titan locked me out of the site! I couldn't deposit money from any other source. Of course, that didn't stop their support person from instant messaging me 100 times with absolutely no useful information whatsoever.

I've since deleted the software and could probably download it again and try a new username, but I don't like when people make it hard for me to give them money.

I've been looking for somewhere to start playing serious, besides Tilt, and I like the Noble Poker, Titan Poker, etc. display and play. I played Noble maybe a year ago and I thought the service and all was ok, so Titan is a lot different? I hate having to deal with support all the time.

EDIT: I just downloaded it, created an account, and now I can't log in. It's been 3 hours.

Default Yeah...

I actually really like Titan for the issues described by ScottMc (good place to build a bankroll basically), and lots of freerolls some of which are a hoot, but I have definitely had my fair share of issues:

* I haven't experienced an unfortunate tournament crash as described above, but I have experienced some "lag" on the site, and on occasion have missed the first hand and been forced to "sit out", can't speak to the technicals though
* Customer service has been responsive, but not always super helpful... I have to repeat queries sometimes

All that said, I am generally a happy camper as these have not been enough to take away from what I do like about them!!

I've been trying to work off a Titan bonus lately. My gripe? Why do we need an all-in button??? I was two-tabling and clicked over to my cash game RIGHT as the buttons popped up. I didn't even realize what happened until I saw that I was all in with KJo. Not happy. Fortunately everyone folded, but still. Mis-clicks happen often, that's a dangerous button to have out there! I'm all for making things easier on the players, but come on - if you really want to go all in, don't be so lazy - move the slider!!

Default Hehe...

I'm of the same view, and I had the same problem once while multi-tabling at Titan. I moved over, and clicked on "call" pre-flop with a mid-tier calling hand, and it was loading as I was doing that and changed the button on me to All In. I'm thinking, "nooooooooo..." but everyone folded so disaster was averted.

I'm finding working off the bonus on Titan, while substantial, is taking longer than it has at most other places that I play.

I understand your guys views here and titan poker does have problems with their site often enough to disturb the public. I still love the site though because it plays so quickly, they are not over crowded but enough people are there to fill up games and SNG's. I have been playing with stars for a long time but recently have switched over to titan and am sticking there and on pokershow. These two are basically twins in all aspects except for customer service. I have never really had to use customer service except once when I wanted to withdrawel my money but that goes for every poker site. I keep hearing decent reviews about full tilt and theres a tourney there today being held by texas72....I may get in that today if football becomes uninteresting.

Yes I too have noticed that Titan seems to crash fairly often. ESPECIALLY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE 15,000 Freezeout.... THAT I WAS WINNING... AND OH OK.. THEY SAY THEY WILL MAKE UP FOR IT WITH AN "EXCLUSIVE" $1,500 FREEROLL FOR THOSE THAT WERE REMAINING?????? ARE YOU JOKING? THINK HOW DUMB THAT IS......................
