| I'm just wondering who out there plays more than just hold'em. One of the things I've found many top players have in common is that they can hold their own in almsot any form of poker. Are there any Omaha, stud, triple draw or razz fans out there? If you play any of these, what are the strategy resources you'd recommend to new players to your favorite game?

Sounds interesting. Something else interesting that I've seen is "Team Play" tournaments at Poker Room, sort of like those GSN shows where they have two teams against each other. Has anybody tried these out yet?

| Team Tourny's sound pretty cool. Did anyone else see this, it was on Fox Sports Network a few weeks ago: Boston vs. New York. It was mostly lesser known players, but John D'ag. was in it for Team Boston. I never saw how it ended, and I can't find anything about it online. I do know that soon there is going to be a televised, $6,000 buyin tournament at the Palms, Team USA vs. Team World. I'm trying to get into in through a $109 satellite, it sounds cool. |

The LIPS Tour event in Tunica back in August featured one of the women that played in the BOS-NY thing - I think her last name was Galloway, though I may be wrong on that count. I never saw the show as I live in the south...some of the people I know up in the NY area said it was kind of lame, but I can't really make any sort of judgment myself.

| I've tried Omaha, once by accident when I mis-clicked while attempting to get into a No Limit sit & go, and I wasn't too thrilled with the game generally, but then I tried Omaha Hi/Lo just for kicks and I was much more pleased with that. You can play that one really tight and do pretty well without a ton of playing time, which I will likely never get in Omaha! |
