The TopPair Magazine Forum Challenge Freeroll will be a No Limit Hold 'Em Freezeout Tournament held on Saturday, October 29th 2005, at 3:00pm EST. The tournament will be hosted on GamesGrid.

That would be 2pm Central time... ( Texas Time )

I was thinking it was the 30th.... and to think.. me missing a freeroll...

anyways somehow i heard results are out already (despite tournament starting 10 mins ago)

Hmm, unable to connect here as well, guys. I gave up and moved on to other things (like getting ready to head to Indiana for the WSOP Circuit coverage tomorrow morning). Any news on what's going on with the tourney?

I was able to connect easily at about 20 mins before start time.. only to find the tourney was full....

Freeroll (FCF) only to encounter technical problems. Over 4,000 players and
observers logged in and the volume overwhelmed one of GamesGrid's
normally-reliable servers.

GamesGrid wants everyone to have a great poker experience, and this tournament
definitely wasn't that. The good news for players is, we will be inviting all
FCF players back to participate in a bigger, better and richer FCF.

Unfortunately the only way to do a true test with 4,000 people logged in from
around the world is to have 4,000 people log in from around the world. Now
that we know what can happen, we definitely want to fix it. We don't have all
the exact details yet, but we will be sending an invitation with the new time
and date as soon as everything is worked out. We just wanted to send you a
message immediately so you weren't left hanging any longer without
information.

Has anybody heard any news about the rescheduling of this tournament? Or how it is "richer"? Because I haven't

They must be going through a massive overhaul at the site or something......
