| I think Mike Matasaw(sp) would be the best choice....... Not Juanda tho.. he just does not seem like much of a 'talker'.. the quiet type, ya know... I just don't like Daniel N. It would be interesting to see who they replace him with... perhaps they should just make it a rotating position... |

| The show can only get better without out that Phil G guy. He is a drain on poker in general. Why would any woman like the tall handsome millionaire dreamy types? I hope they replace him with David Grey a nice short bald fat guy.

| That is a tough one - I definitely would not pick Matusow though. I can't stand him. I agree that Juanda is a quiet guy, and wouldn't really fit the part. I think a similar case against Howard Lederer could be made - great player, but dull, monotone personality. You need someone who is vivacious and lively - but not too lively, because that can be annoying - that's why I don't think Negreanu should be the host either. He's another great player, but he starts to get on my nerves after a while. I'm not really sure who should replace Phil. By best idea is someone like Phil Ivey or even someone like Gus Hansen, who i think would have a good time doing it, because he's always having fun. Tough call though. Phil will be tough to replace |

| You know who I think would make an excellent co-host? Wil Wheaton. He's got plenty of experience in front of a camera and he knows poker pretty well. Of course, if we're just going with just poker pros, Chris Ferguson is a great choice. He's personable, he loves any sort of exposure, and he knows the game more thoroughly than almost anyone else around. You have to wonder, though, if he could keep a straight face watching the reality TV "stars" play. As far as other current pros go, there aren't many I can think of who would fill the job as well as Phil Gordon does. He has a natural knack for the way the show is set up.

That's actually an excellent suggestion, he's done a lot to help raise awareness of poker, especially in online circles, and comes with his own instant audience. He's 'everyman' enough to where folks can identify with his point of view, but also celeb enough to maintain the 'dazzle factor' of the show. He'd probably play off of Foley really well too. Good thinking. Hopefully someone of influence at the show will think the same. |
