I was just wondering if anybody received any free money from Absolute Poker - without any kind of e-mail notification.

I was just playing a tourney there, and won $5, so i went to the cashier to see my total - and it was $20 higher than I expected it to be.

I never received any notification that i would be getting free money.

I rarely check my account balance there, cuz 0 + 0 = 0.. but I will check next time and let ya know...

Wait.. I remember now.. I got an email from cashiersupport@absolute.conartist saying that they misplaced apprx $20.00 of my cash and that the person who ended up with it, would post about it on a poker forum...

They must of meant you..

Nope, no $20 here. Just the same $0.37 that's been sitting there since I withdrew all my money from Absolute a while back. Why is it that poker rooms can't process anything but even dollar amounts?

Because they're hoping you'll take that 37 cents, hit the penny tables, and run it up big. What gambler can keep extra money lying around, no matter how small the amount??

i got .07 cents on pacific.. it has been there for several months..

i asked them to donate it somewhere and they said they couldn't..

I got .56 cents on paradise.. and I asked them to shove it up their rear end.. they also said they couldn't...

I just found out where the money came from. Absolute poker JUST sent me an e-mail. It says that I was randomly selected from people that played in the Win Your Tuition freeroll to get $20 free.

So I guess you guys won't be getting it.......sorry

I also thought that was weird. I was trying to change my email address there, and went to the cashier and found 15 dollars in my account. I am still not sure what it was from, but I enjoyed playing on it. i am with you, I never received an email or anything saying that they out money in my account either. did you ever find out why? If you did let me know.

I actually posted up above why i got it - I received an e-mail a couple days later from Absolute Poker saying that I was randomly selected from the people that competed in the Win Your Tuition freeroll to receive a $20 bonus.
