| I play several heads up SnG a night. I use them to pad my bankroll and to get some action when i am in larger MTT. One thing I can tell you about my success is that I am fairly aggressive and will never let an oppent see one for free. By this I mean if I am in a hand I am going to raise it. If you dont raise he cant fold. I also take advantage of limp bets when I am in the big blind. If anyone limps into me they should not be surprised by a 4x raise with any 2 cards. Limping is for losers in heads up. I will also never slowplay off the flop when I hit big because this is the time most fish will try a steal or even push TPTK.

| From my experience playing Heads Up, that's exactly the kind of play that will get you frequent wins. I also find it requires some fine-tuning based on opponents; many opponents are tight so your aggressive strategy will work, but something I end up against really loose/passive players and that requires a change of direction somewhat. It's a nice side benefit to have that part of your game down pat when you make it to the end of a final table in one of your MTTs! |
