Men Nguyen named Player of the Year Nguyen was in the lead for the title, but his closest competition was John Phan, and both of them busted out of the Five Diamond Poker Classic - Men on day 2 and John on day one. Michael Gracz and John Gale both remained in the tourney on the final day and could have earned the points to take the lead.
Both Nguyen and Phan headed to AC to play in the Trump Classic, but neither made the money or earned Player of the Year points; clinching the title for Men.
This is his fourth Player of the Year title. He wins his buyin into the Main Event for 2006.
