Default pocket jacks

playing pocket jacks is definitely tricky. For me, i play them the same as i do any pair 7's- k's. I raise about 3-4 times. Hopefully i'll get 1 call at most. Then depending on the board, play them very aggressive or tight. The most important thing when playing jj is trying to get a good read on the other guy's hand.

Usually on big pocket hands I don't try and slow play them because you'll end up getting smacked if someone caught 2 pr or a straight, something like that. What I ususally do is raise the BB like x4 or x5 the amount,it depends what the blinds are. So that's what I would do.

jacks can take you out of the tournament. At least that's what I experienced. Like when you hold jacks and and the flop comes A A J and turn and river something like 2 2. mhmmmm

For my 2 cents... JJ are easy to play. If a Ace hits on the flop, nobody seems to fold aces so its an easy fold. the hardest part is when you are up against a higher pocket pair with the board comes out low and when somebody hits trips on you. JJ is the easiest hand to fold if you ask me. I have no problem folding becuase people always play Aces and Kq, Kj, qj.

Pocket eights must be the hardest hand, not pocket jacks. Of course they are both good hands but there are so many hands that can beat you. If any of the high cards come up you are dead.

With jacks when someone goes over the top of you you can only do two things: Put him on high cards and call; put him on a higher pair and fold.

When someone goes over the top of you when you have pockets eights, you really don't know what to do. You know to do with jacks, pump it or dump it.

Default terrible hand

I have lost a lot of money with pocket jacks. When I play it aggressive att the beginning someone have a bigger pocket pair and so-one . So my advice it that fold it
