Has anyone checked out Stacks Poker? You can signup for the BETA version and test its freerolls, but other than that I don't know anything else. The graphics look like they will be pretty good.

I applied back in October I thought, but I haven't heard anything from them about it. I actually completely forgot about it. I will have to check it out again - it is supposed to be 'revolutionary', so I'm eager to see what it's like

I think it uses your graphics card to do 3d animations, more so than true poker.
that's just may vague recollection.

I'm in the same catogory as respondent number 1, expected to hear something from them, but haven't yet. Guess it's time to check out their freerolls so I'll have some money when they launch the site.

last I heard was they will still having beta testing issues and they had been shooting for late january or early feb. But I am sure it means that we wont see it until summer...I hope it lives up to the hype and they have enough sense to have a server larger then the one games grid used to have there big coming out party.

If you go to their website you can watch some videos about their new software. It looks very impressive, kind of like an xbox or playstation 2 game. I think this is a great idea if they can get their software to work.

I also signed up for this awhile ago. However, I have no heard anything. I hope it was not some sort of scam. It seems unlikely that it would take them this long to creat the site. However, who knows.

Software definetly is impressive. I wonder what type of speed these games are going to run at. The graphics are definetly impressive, but if that means you get a couple of minutes between bets I'm not going to be as impressed. I guess we will see.

Anyone in there playing yet? I signed up, but am still waiting to hear back from them.

They sent out an email. I had signed up and received the email within an hour.

EDIT: I hadn't checked out the email in maybe a week, so I guess I forgot how useless it was. It was just a welcome email and a notification that I will be receiving my "special invitation" shortly.
