With the tourney tonight I don't want to give out all my secrets...hahaha. I will say one thing though. I mix up my play quite a bit. So you probably will not pick up anything on me.

Do what they expect you to do. Don't need to get to tricky they will either have something to pay you with or they have nothing and you don't need them hitting runner runner to break you.

Depending on how many are playing this hand.
But i will probably check. The chance for on player to have a K it's small so i will wait for the turn.
i would love to have that hand.

If I am in first position I would check. Middle or late I would bet the minimum to show some strength. Again it does depend on other factors but I think you need to find a way to pick up chips when you can. I know you want to maximize the chips you take from others and a small bet will get the person with the other king (if there) to think you are trying to take it with a pair of 7s or 3s. Those with a pair will call. If they don't have it now they aren't going to call you in later hands.

Well if you did the standard 3 bet pre flop you might of got 1-2 callers, if you check, smart players will think you had qq or lower and are showing weekness so they will try to large raise you off the hand, thats when you smack em upside the head and reraise all in

Ok, but I don't think we can safely say we play at hands with smart players. I think that is why we hear so many bad beat stories. There are a lot of people that don't know how to play. Shoot, I will put myself in that group. I have been playing for about 6 months. I have learned a ton and believe I am beginning to have a bit of strategy as I play but there are number of people out there that aren't. Those are the people you still need to be aware of when playing.

Default my opinion

If i had KK and that flop came...rainbow with a k on the board..reguardless of the chip stacks other has...i will def. chek it..top hand..and the turn won't help much because they can't catch a straight or a flush...so why bet because they might fold...you want to catch them so play slow.. i would slow play with that hand

Why else do you think doyle and helmuth and the other arent able to win these tournements consistently anymore. Becase the way these "new" young blood players are playing. The way they played poker 5 10 years ago shit even 1-2 years ago isnt the way to win poker tournaments today, honestly you have to agree with this. I mean these guys KNOW this too, they arent dumb. Poker players are not as pretictable now, as these legends once were used too them being.

Now what im saying is mostly applying to early day 1 day 2 play
toward the end and final table good ol tradition kicks in again, for the most part. Its just getting through day 1 and 2 thats the ball buster.
