I have a ? how did Betzip get my email address.

And why would I want to pay some one 20 bucks a month to play poker. I have never put any of my own money into poker and have won quite a few dollars.

Another thing no one has mention here which is the most important have you been able to withdraw your winnings.

Dh and I have been playing at betzip for about a year now. At first it was great. Then I guess they got too many members and needed to upgrade their servers. Well things went down hill fast. They changed the blind structure, their tourneys about doubled in size with no higher payouts, their point structure shrunk. So now you have a 2000 people tourney with blinds starting at 15/30 (compared to the 5/10 they used to start). The all in nuts double up quick and then are untouchable. With that many people and the blinds starting so high there are only a few people with huge chip leads and they basically bully the tournament. Its not even poker anymore. And something is really off in their alogorithm. Today dh and I were each in different tourneys and I complained that I had seen way too many quads. He asked if I was watching his game, I told him no I was busy with my own. He said he was just beat by 4 Js to his Full house. Now normally I would think bad beat if not for the same exact hands being played on my table at the same exact time! I went on to see 2 more quads today for a total of 4 in one day. Its true online poker is not random like irl but this is just silly. People are getting disconnected all the time now, some plays take forever because of that. The fast paced action it used to be has gone by the wayside.

Now some of their new features is nice, but its not like other sites don't offer the same things. We have won money and gotten checks in a few days - no problems there.

You can get a free trial and see how you like it. Honestly I'm having more fun with Full tilt and Bodogs play games. Betzip is just annoying now, they were so much fun, its sad really. I should also mention we've played Absolute, Party Poker, Pokerstars, Doyle's Room...just about everywhere and Betzip was the most fun. They are supposed to be adding some of the old features so maybe when they do that it will be nice again. But I wouldn't pay for a membership if I were you.

sence my orig.post the site has gone thru many changes,almost all are for the good..1st they changed there name to PURE PLAY...THEY UPGRADED THERE GAME SOFTWARE(which was a major positive change), they have more and bigger payouts, and seem tobe working in the right direction all be it a little slower than than i would like to see it....overall the site is much improved and a good place to work on your poker game...todate i have won 10 months free membership plus $150 cash and i only play 5 to 7 days a month.....so too those who say its a ripoff or there nothing to be gained there all i have to say to them if they play as good as they talk then how can they lose??? there's plenty of money to win.....all you have to remember is that because theres no additional cost for all the tourns you enter people take more chances at hitting hans on the turn and river than they would if they had to pay everytime entered a tourn........all in all you need a good game to win concistantly and the end game experiance (final table play) is as good as it gets and everyone can use as much of that play as they can get.........

One of my friend is also playing at betzip and is satisfied with it.
For me 20$ each month is just too much.
