Default Great freeroll!

Great tournament BBP Guru! It was nice to actually play at a table with people who interact rather than a big eerie silence.

I didn't do as well as I would have liked, as after hitting a peak of about 1.6 starting chip stacks I continued to play aggressively around the bubble and busted out at 18th. Didn't help that I mis-called a (non) bluff! Oh well, c'est la vie, had a great time and it was nice to "meet" some of the other forumites.

Hope to continue forum-ing with ya'll over the coming days and weeks, and ideally organize some buy-in SnG's before the next BBP freeroll. Hopefully the ranks will be even bigger by then and the forum will continue to grow.

Had fun! Thanks!

Indeed a great tournament. I had to hold off a good performace from nextyear (sunnypoker) and others including BBP to place 3rd. I'm happy with that though. Congrats to 1 and 2 and BBP I have a suggestion in the suggestion section.

Default Good Time

Had a fantastic time tonight except for one incidence but overall it was a GREAT tourney even though I really messed up at the final table with those wonderful AK's of mine lol.

Thanks,
GG

Definately our best one yet. Thanks everyone for playing. Although I am beginning to wonder if Titan is rigged? Didn't nxtyear win the last freeroll we had there??

i think i came 4th didn't i? it was a Noble freeroll i think, the $500 one long time ago.

anyways, last nights tourney i had a great run of cards i think.
and some situations that just came to my benefit.

eg, some guy going all in on the button when i was holding QQ in SB.

later on, i raised with 79o got a call from SB i think.
flop comes 789, suddenly the SB goes all in , easy call for me
(seeing as if he had a straight or a set he wouldn't have gone over the pot size all in)

and then later in raised with 29o (ok i know u'd be thinking why i'm raising with that but i had a massive chip stack).
got called by the biggest stack.

flop comes 828, great flop for me, i bet out get called. turn comes 3. he goes all in and i had no doubt i had the best hand. biiiig pot, i call, he turns over AK.
so i win with my two pair 2's and 8's

i bluffed quite abit this tournament. i guess i can't lose anything telling you guys this seeing as i showed my cards everytime i won a hand...
now that i come to think of it, i'm wondering why i showed all my hands...
it's bad for my own long-run seeing as everyone will remember how much i bluff!

the heads-up was a bit tough. laid down some hands because the opponent was playing quite well. but i managed to come through and win it.

just a good run of cards/situations, that's all !
you'll see me in more action nxt time

Congratulations to everyone for a great freeroll. Unfortunately for myself, I was getting nice hole cards and then absolutely NOTHING on the board. I don't think I won a pot all night.

It was capped off by a suckout by me, followed by a suckout of my suckout for me to lose.

Rough night, but I look forward to some better (personally - the tournament itself was good) tournies with BBP in the future.
