Default Freeroll Payouts

I was thinking about this. I finished 3rd and got only 20 less than 1st place did. Maybe next freeroll we can give more for first and only give 10 payout spots. With only 50 people maximum it's something to ponder.

i'll make sure we revise this the next time
i was actually a bit surprised to see so my self.
seeing as we had about 15 people planned out to show up, and 15 places were paid,
it seemed like we were expecting pay everyone who participated

anyways ,yeah, next time you are going to see a more standard structure i think.
although i guess we will to some extent make it a flatter prize structure
(rather than a high jump structure)
eg.
1st: 70
2nd: 50
3rd:35
4th: 25
5th: 15
6th: 5

or something similar. (i hope the math adds up, can't be bothered to check it

actually the payouts were chosen by titan poker....and usually we don't have a say in that..but we'll try to improve upon it..

For a very friendly freeroll (except isaidfold8 cursing out the table) I think the structure is fine. And we're also going to assume that there are more players next time, so with a possible full 50 it'll be a little different.

I think the structure is fine when laid out for 50 entrants but yesterday's freeroll only had 25 entrants and the top 15 paid which is a little too may places being paid. I think that for small tournaments (20-30 entrants) just the top 10 should be paid if not fewer, maybe just 1st through 8th.

I agree with agreen, its really only a freindly tournament so I dont think I really matters about the pay outs.

I would echo that sentiment, it's a little non-standard and arguably the payouts should be a little more steeply inclined, but for a friendly tournament such as this the payout didn't seem so bad.

I understand your point of views guys. If there is 50 players than I can see 15 spots paying out, but if there is going to be around 30 again I wouldnt mind seeing the winner get a nicer reward. He was the WINNER and should get a little more than 2nd...nxt years are what I'm talking about. Anyways, I'm sure the right decision will be made and I guess it really doesn't matter because it was a freeroll just for fun.

Thanks a lot to all that put it together.

Not that I got into the freeroll. BUt if I did I say paying 15 if only 20+ is paying a few too many folks. Sure must have been nice to be one of the 1st ones out and still get a nice little pay day.
