i don't even keep track of my poker winnings. When ever i deposit i just remember how much i deposited and after i cashed out i don't really think about it i know im ahead over all but i don't even bother to worry about it. I don't play for high stakes at all the highest i will go is maybe a $100 NL table, and that when im taking a risk, or feeling lucky. That spread sheet sounds nice though.. but im afraid i would never use it.

I've tried this technique as I would consider it to be. Although both times I did I lost a ton of money because I would see that I was down and it would get to me. I then tried and push (not my game) and lost more. Now I just wing it.

I'm going to recommend Iceberg's sheet one more time. I had some free time to look around at other ways to keep track, but I like simplicity. I don't need a program to know if my ITM% in SAG's or MTT's is lacking, that's something I can do myself.

I also use Excel. I'm think it keeps it very organized and easy to read. I also have a template which includes some formulas created for when I'm most profitable, where i'm most profitable, etc.

You can use a poker tracker such as SharkScope - The Largest Online Poker Tournament Results Database which records all the earnings and losses that you make. Im on fulltilt so it records them. Have a look for your poker room on it and see if your there.

They have a new feature that shows if your a good player or a fish. It helps you cut your losses or maximise your earnings.
