I like to listen to music too. Because I usually like to play conservative so if I have nothing to do while im folding all the time then I will start playing rags. I listen to it so it keeps me busy.

I listen to music when its a large tourney for three reasons.
1. The kids dont understand leave me alone for alittle while.
2. the wife doesnt understand leave me alone for alittle while.
3. the wife doesnt understand leave me alone for a little while.

I use it to block out the excess noises. It helps me relax and chilllll. Everything from country to jazz. Throw alittle rock and classical. and blend with classic rock. You get a relaxing combo. Just watch the opera. Itll put ya to sleep.

When I play poker I listen to a lot of Mariah Carey. Especially We Belong Together. Ok it sounds a bit gay but becuase its a slow song it really does calm you down. Also I listen to Here Without You by 3 doors down. Another slow song which calms the nerves.

i listen to music all the time when playing poker, i see it as park of the game, either bonethugsnharmony or something realaxing.... something to make me chill and calm a little eas my mind

I cannot be on the computer without listening to music. I actually prefer music over television unless there is something really good on tv. Besides, I have a hard time trying to watch tv and play poker at the same time.
