Default Micro NLHE

I like to play Micro NLHE because it's fun to fish.
As an example from last weekend:

Most players usually have $1-$10.
I'm playing with $1.

Blinds are $0.02/$0.04 and five people call, including myself with A3o on the Button. I call and hope to see a "cheap" flop, which is A-8-3 rainbow. Middle Position bets $0.12 and I call as well as two others and the turn is a 2. MP bets $0.36 and I am the only caller and the River is a K. MP goes all-in with $0.52 and loses with A6. I more than double my money. A lot of cheap yuks. Anyone else play Micro?

I used to play at Paradise, but it was very tight there.
Titan is much more loose.

Iceberg.

I avoid micro just for that very reason. Too many people fishing off the same
dock.

Default Micro Nlhe

I like to go to the .01/.02 table and put the whole place on tilt by pushing all in every hand

I almost never play micro limits because I play alot of Limit Holdem and you really dont want to play mirco limits in LHE beacuse you get so many callers your hole cards really dont matter to much beause most everyone calls. So its all about what you get on the flop. For example I was playing in a $.02/$.04 game on titan (because i only have like $5 there) and i pick up pocket AA so of course i raise to try to narrow down the players but i can only raise another bet so 7 other people called me. Flop came something like 559 and of course I loose to trips. (sad story I know)

I will probaly have to look into playing the NL tables because I have like 5-10 dollars on a few sites because of freerolls

I have another example from a couple of days ago:

I have KQo in MP and raise it 4BB and LP re-raises it another 4BB and I'm the only caller. The flop is a KK8 rainbow and I check it. LP bets 4BB I call and the next card is a 3. I check and he bets another 4BB and I go All-in. He types "I know that you have a K", BUT then calls me. The River is a blank and he shows AA and loses. He didn't know JACK. I made about a buck and a half plus got a good chuckle.

Thats a great story.

I hate when people do that, like some of my friends think that they can read people really good, but most of them dont say that they know what you had untill after you show your hand, win the pot and take there money.

I deffinately agree with titan micro players being loose. I play a little on the micros to mix it up and no I can't lose much money. Although I am probably up like $40 off the micros in the past 2 months on titan. The players will call with draws and play average hands to the river and hope to get lucky. If you ever hit a flop with trips or 2 pair you can take so much money from them. Every now and then you find a good player in the micros, but it's rare. The thing I do though when a good player is playing is I just go to another table. It's not that I can't beat him, but when I can beat others much quicker for more money I might as well do it. I guess I'm saying the micros are nice to win smaller money slower and good for mixing things up.

I don't think there is a way to play Micro-Limit successfully unless you get extremely lucky all the time. The players don't look at the bets as 3x,4x the BB etc. they look at the actually value of the best which would never be much. This is why they are so loose and can seem to always bust your big hands with rags, I would recommend staying away from Micro-Limit. There is nothing to be learned there other than not how to play poker.

I hate playing micro no limit holdem. Personally i think its a complete waste of time. For one thing almost all of the players are terrible. And even if you come out of the table ahead. What did you win like $5 tops. I stick to $1 $2 no limit. Its affordable and you can make a good profit.
