has anyone else joined this place. If so and correct me if I am wrong but they are having a 40k freeroll. 3 freerolls of 10 each and one other 10k freeroll for all those who places in the first 3. Sounds great however here is the catch is or at least from the way I understood it. If you dont make a deposit and then play you have to rake out at 10 to 1 for every dollar won and if you make a deposit then you still have to rake out at 5 to 1 for every dollar won. So here is my question for a BBP member who would be more in the know. Is this normal that you have to rake out a freeroll money win eveh if you have made the deposit to play first. I dont play many freerolls so I am unsure if this is normal or kind of steep. Seems to me they want to present a huge set of freerolls to get people playing there but have it set up that they dont really ever lose a dime. any comments

Good post. I have played and won some Freeroll money at Titan and Party Poker. The winnings go directly into your account with no strings attached. You can cash it out to Neteller, if desired (Note: Party does have a $50 min for cashout). I personally would not go for the Spades Lounge offer, since there are much better Freeroll sites. Pokerhost had some requirement to make a Deposit AND "Play the Deposit Bonus" 5 times on a $1/$2 table in order to cash it out. The rules were buried deep in their site and vague. The traffic was so light that it was difficult to find a game without sharks. I withdrew my deposit quick like a bunny 'cause time is money. Iceberg. Last edited by iceberg : 02-08-06 at 10:35 AM.

Hey, I have seen the thing about Spades lounge and it looks interesting. When it comes out I may give it a whirl. Will I deposit there, probably not. however, I will likely try their freerolls out if the site is real and comes out. Iceberg: Titan allows you to remove freeroll money without a deposit? Really, if yes great. Is there a minimum amount?

Probably not. Generally most sites require that you make a deposit (I use Neteller for speed and security) and they will cash you out using the same route (makes sense for security). My first deposit with Titan was late last year for $50. I've withdrawn at least double that amount (my smallest w/d was $8). Withdrawals take about two days max. Not too bad. Neteller provides a place for me to sock away money so that I don't TILT-it away. Bottom line is go ahead and make a deposit at Titan and you can start withdrawing your winnings. You should always make an attempt to review their w/d restrictions (time, amount, No. of times to bet a bonus, etc.). Iceberg. (The only way to win, is to leave a winner)

Thanks Iceberg, that is what I figured. Some sites, such as BetonUSA and NordicBet do not even require a desposit but I feel this is the exception. I am slowly trying to move money off and then deposit on other sites to move money off from them. Sometimes, I feel money management is harder than the game itself.

good point about money management ...I have no problem with freerolls having to rake out. But I think its only fair that if you make a deposit then what you win after that no matter what game or tourny should be yours.

I think Spades lounge is due to start operation in the first week of March - but i'm expecting the initial freerolls to be as crazy as the 5k freerolls that they have at Bet365 on a Saturday night (over 10,000 entrants) Looking forward to a new poker room though - competition is always good
