That's just ridiculous. I can see going all in if it was early in the tourney and the guy was just looking for a quick double up, but if this was for any money, I doubt that they would have made such a boneheaded move 10-handed.

Well it could have looked like the guy with QQ was trying to steal with a small/mid pocket pair, I'm not really sure since I wasn't there, but if you make that read then a QJ call isnt entirely donk because you're still coinflipping. The guy with 88 calling two allins was ridiculous though.

Like BSgutshot said I think the calls being determined to be donk or smart is a matter of a couple of things. Was this early in the tournament and what postions were the guys in. If the Q's were early and went all in ok. If the Q-J was early and called that's just dumb and the 8's calling in the end was not the smartest play in the world, but I guess all said and done thats poker. The hands not over till all cards are dealt even if you have 100% chance to win after the flop....all cards have to be dealt.

lol..... i was predicting another jack would have came up. but any freeroll things like that are going to happen. I don't understand why people even bother to get into a freeroll if they're going to go allin 10 handed just like that.

but then again i never have understood these freeroll allin fanatics. They always seem to be the ones to get those running cards to knock me out also. lol.....man those people are lucky!
