| Tilt is the best site for tournaments and satellites. I've got a few tokens lying around, I'll try to get into one of the $200+16 satellites from a sag. I'm planning on two smaller buyins there, but a cheaper seat in the Main Event sounds nice. |

| It's a bit complex, so rather than me try to explain it, it's probably best if you just check it out yourself - http://www.partypoker.com/tournament...ies/index.html Bascially, they have regular sats, "gateway" sats, freerolls, and then their steps. Prize is the buyin, 1K in spending money, and free hotel. (Unless you win via a freeroll).

| if you are interested in playing one of the $1k buyin events in the WSOP, there are some great sats at Poker World. I won a seat to event #17 from a $20 freezeout. there were only 47 people in it, and 1st got a $1k seat plus $1k spending money. They have $20 rebuy sats every monday night with really good odds, Usually only like 30 people. |

| From what I know, TruePoker has a very good way of running their satellites. You can win your entry in a satellite for as cheap as FREE, as well as winning through smaller subsatellites or just paying the direct buyin to the satellite tournament. Let me elaborate a little more on the free possibility. It is a promotion called WSOP4FREE, and I am such a strong advocate because it improved my game considerably. It all began with a round of 300 player tournaments (no entry fee!), 4 times a day, where you needed to qualify in the top 2 to receive an entry in the next tournament. As these ran for like 3 months, you had a good chance of doing so eventually. I finished 2nd in the third tournament I played in, so I qualified. The next tournament had 702 people (over 200 sitters, i don't know why!), with a 1000 dollar prize pool, as well as awarding the top 2 players a seat in a super satellite for the WSOP! the next 50 finishers split the 1000 dollars, giving them a good start. Long story short, I got a terrible beat ( ![]() allin preflop against ![]() , he flopped a flush) it was really confusing but long story short i made the 20 bucks i won into over 300. If you are a diehard freeroll player, this is probably your simplest option of getting a truly FREE entry into the WSOP! |
