Any thoughts of putting together a BBP League? With the freerolls moving to weekly you could count them as a league game and then maybe have another small buy in tourney ($2-$3) during the week. Calculate pts based on finishes in the league games and have a champion at the end of the season with prizes or just for bragging rights. It might also help generate some interest in the site. I know I'd be very interested, I'm not sure about everyone else.

I think that's a great idea Track. I've always been a very competitive person , so an ongoing league sounds like a really good idea to me.

It also adds a new element to the tourneys - people are not only playing to cash, but if you are short stacked, it could now be advantageous to just hang around as long as possible to obtain more league points.

i think you misphrased your statement

perhaps you were saaying....

It also adds a new element to the tourneys - people are not only playing to WIN, but if you are short stacked, it could now be advantageous to TRY BE AGGRESSIVE TO GAIN as MANY CHIPS as possible to obtain more league points.

Higher placing = higher money= higher league points = better chances of becoming our BBP league winner!
same applies to all types of poker tournaments
(besides satellites!)

Yes I hope to god we start a season. I think the best way to see a palyers overall ability is over a seasonall type of format.
