Evening All,

What's everyones thoughts on the Hendon Mob from the UK (Ram Vaswani, Joe Beevers, Barney Boatman, etc)

I've seen them play on TV and live in a variety of events (Partypoker Euro Open, William Hill Euro Challenge, WSOP, etc) and I cant get over how contrived their whole attitude is

Very much as though a nickname has gone to their heads (personally I believe they're a bunch of celebrity wannabies)

got a big wake up call a couple of months ago when I played totally erratically and got my just desserts. Being a bit of a novice I ranted and raved about for a bit instead of eating humble pie.

Two months later, and 3 books later (david sklanskys tournament poker being my favourite!!) I think I have become a better player and more knowledgeable than I was ever before.

These things are all done to the people. Before I was just a poor poker player who thought he could play, NOW I honestly think that I can play poker and play it well, and its all down to you guys.

I havent seen them called the hendon mob but i have seen some of the players your talking about and that beevers guy getting an atitiude with howard lederer i belive at the wsop was pretty bad it seems like he thinks hes better i would really like to see lederer take beevers to school.
