Here's a look at some of the tournament action at Full Tilt
Poker and Poker Room this December.
Full Tilt Poker
The online home of some of your favorite professional players is one of the
best places on the net for tournament play. From guaranteed prize pools to
satellites for the biggest buy-in events on the World Poker Tour and the World
Series of Poker Circuit, there's plenty at Full Tilt to scratch your
tournament itch this month.
Each week Full Tilt hosts tournaments with a combined guaranteed prize pool of
over $500,000. The majority of these events feature a buy-in of $24+2, making
for one of the best tournament values on the net. The nightly $9,000 and
$14,000 Guarantee tournaments run at 8 PM and 10 PM ET, respectively, and the
prize pools often exceed their guarantees. If you're looking for bigger money
you'll want to play on the weekends. Saturday at 6 PM ET is the time for the
weekly $30,000 Guarantee tournament, which features a $100+9 buy-in. For an
even bigger prize there's the Sunday $200,000 Guarantee. The buy-in for this
tournament is $200+16. All of these guaranteed prize pool tournaments are in a
freezeout format - no rebuys or add-ons allowed!
Sunday nights on Full Tilt are the time for another unique promotion - Post
Game Poker. This $50+5 freezeout tournament runs at 11:59 PM ET on Sunday
evenings for the remainder of football season, leaving you plenty of time once
the day's NFL slate is completed to get registered. In addition to the full
prize pool from player buy-ins, Full Tilt will add $1 for every point scored
in NFL competition throughout the day. There's never been a better reason for
poker players to cheer for high-scoring football.
For those players who aspire to greater heights than daily cash prizes, Full
Tilt offers one of the best satellite deals on the net: the Winner's Choice
tournament. These $200+16 tournaments run twice weekly, on Tuesday at 9 PM ET
and Saturday at 3 PM ET. For every $12,000 in the prize fund one player will
earn entry into his choice of one of five tournaments in the next two months:
the LA Poker Classic, the Borgata Poker Classic, the World Poker Open, or the
WSOP Circuit events at Grand Casino Tunica and Caesars Palace Las Vegas. The
prize package includes tournament buy-in, dinner with the Full Tilt pros, and
$2,000 in spending money. Satellite entry into the biweekly Winner's Choice
events can be earned for as little $4+.40 in sit-and-go and multi-table
satellites.
Poker Room
There's a lot of money up for grabs at Poker Room throughout each week,
starting off with guaranteed prize pool tournaments. Anyone who likes rebuy
tournaments will find it tough to stay away. Sunday through Thursday at 9 PM
ET there is a $20,000 Guarantee with a buy-in of $20+2, with players allowed
one re-buy during the first hour and 1 add-on at the first break. Friday at 9
PM ET are the home of the $40,000 Guarantee, with a $20+2 buy-in, unlimited
rebuys in the first hour, and 15-minute levels. On Saturdays at 9 PM ET the
guarantee jumps to $50,000 - you get 15 minute-levels and unlimited rebuys in
the first hour for your $30+3 buy-in. There are also 3 new $20+2 guaranteed
prize pool events running at noon ET, each featuring unlimited rebuys in the
first hour and one add-on: Monday through Thursday the guarantee is $10,000,
on Friday it jumps to $15,000, and on Saturdays it becomes $20,000.
Poker Room is putting on its biggest weekly event to date with the Big Deal
tournament. This $80,000 guarantee tourney runs at 2:00 PM ET every Sunday and
features a $300+20 buy-in. Qualifier satellites are available for this event.

Qualifiers run daily at 1:45, 6:45 and 10:15 PM ET.
Finally there's the $1,000+0 Grand Tournament V, which will run December 16th
and 17th. Qualifier freezeout tournaments to the Grand V run daily and feature
several levels of buy-in. The least expensive of these is the $5+.50 direct

guaranteed in each of these tournaments. Stage 1 Qualifiers cost $11+1, award
