Default ring games vs tournaments

Does anybody here suck at ring games but rock at tournament play?

lol I am one of those player's that crash and burn at ring games but succeed in the tournaments I find ring games player's are more sneaky and slow play alot. Anybody else find this to be true?

It's very common for a player to be better in the ring vs. tourneys, or vice versa. They each have a different style and are played differently. The fact that you can always re-buy in a ring game usually makes people a little more loose or agressive....can't always play that way in a tourney.
Whether he likes it or not, a mans character is stripped at the poker table; if the other players read him better than he does, he has only himself to blame. Unless he is both able and prepared to see himself as others do, flaws and all, he will be a loser in cards, as in life. ~Anthony Holden

I do. I can never seem to find my groove in ring games. I also don't ;like the fact that you are using your own money for chips when in tournament you arleady bought a stack and if you lost that stack you won't be out. I also don't like all the conservative people in ring games it makes it really hard to tell what another person has or if you have to best hand or not.

I like both tourn and ring games, and it just depends when i'm lucky it really doesnt matter what i play, and when i'm unlucky it doesnt matter what i play. I'm just a girl who loves kids poker football and basketball and sometimes baseball, you know when the cubbies are winning. LOVE, LIVE, LAUGH AND PLAY POKER
